2015 sees us celebrate 20 years of brewing excellence!

We’ve lived, breathed and brewed beer since 1995 when our founder Colin Brown established Belvoir Brewery.

20 years of brewing excellence!
Thanks to his vast experience as a brewer with T&R Theakston and James Shipstone & Sons, Colin’s expertise has grown the business to become one of the East Midlands’ most renowned micro-breweries. This area is no stranger to brewing – Belvoir Castle sitting proudly in the heart of the Vale of Belvoir once housed its own brewery complete with cooperage and cellars.

There’s a very authentic feel to our brewery. We may have moved to a purpose built centre but we have kept original equipment sourced from traditional cask ale breweries all over the UK. And we’re quite fond of bar paraphernalia too!

Our reputation continues to grow. We are proud to supply more than 275 pubs in a 50 mile radius including shops, delicatessens and supermarket giants and following our 20 year anniversary, we have exciting new plans to evolve our range!

Come and see for yourself
Why not find out more about the brewery at the adjoining visitor centre and bar, restaurant, and shop which offers great gifts to take away and fresh local produce all washed down by a pint of our finest!

You’ll find a full range of Belvoir brews and other local drinks, memorabilia and gifts available to buy as well as gift vouchers.

"What a great brewery. There are invariably at least four ales to choose from all brewed on site by Colin Brown, who was a brewer at Shipstones, Nottingham. These beers vary in strength and palate and are always on great form."
