Brewery calls time on out-of-date image
Who is Belvoir Brewery?
We are one of the East Midlands’ favourite micro-breweries. First founded in 1995, we’ve grown to supply more than 275 outlets in a 50-mile radius including pubs, shops, delicatessens and supermarket giants.
Our craft cask beers offer unique and artful flavours that delight throughout the Midlands. You may have heard of some of our range, which includes Dark Horse, Old Dalby, Triumph, Beaver, Gordon Bennet, Oatmeal Stout and Peacock’s Glory.
You can also visit us at The Alehouse for a guided tour of our brewery. And, if you’re feeling like making a day of it, you can upgrade your tour package to include either a buffet or two-course meal at The Alehouse. And it goes without saying that sampling some of the beers is a given!
Our work with Ketchup Marketing
In our 20-year history, we’ve almost exclusively operated B2B, providing our craft beers to pubs and retailers to sell onto their patrons. However, we wanted to change that and also offer our fans the chance to purchase from us directly, so they can enjoy the great taste of Belvoir brews whenever and wherever they like.
For that, we needed a website change. At the time of contacting Ketchup, we had no online shop, which meant customers could only purchase through the businesses we sold to. We brought in Ketchup Marketing to help us make the switch after meeting Michelle at a local networking event.
Getting our goods online
Ketchup helped us integrate an e-commerce page onto our main website. They used WooCommerce to create our current online shop. The branding is consistent with the rest of the site and there’s an added feature of being able to search for brews by product category.
This is a great development for ourselves and our customers; the new website allows our fans the ability buy online with ease. We’re delighted that anyone with a taste for Belvoir’s brews can enjoy them now.
Ketchup’s team of expert copywriters worked to ensure our site was well written and accurate. This helped ensure our site had that final sweep to guarantee a professional finish.
Could you use a little Ketchup magic?
Ketchup has allowed us to open up our customer base and offer our products to all individual craft beer fans out there! The technical expertise of their team made a site change a simple and easy process that we’ll be able to maintain, problem-free, in the long-term.
The Ketchup team are not just made up of web developers; they have marketing strategists, PR experts, graphic designers, and copywriters on their team too. Ketchup can turn their hands to any marketing project, from web design and strategic frameworks to email marketing and printed adverts.
