Assistant Brewer Required - Belvoir Brewery

We are looking for an assistant brewer to come and join the team at Belvoir Brewery.

Ideally you will need to have some experience in working in a micro/small brewery although training can be provided – demonstrate some knowledge and enthusiasm for the brewing & craft beer industry – be self-motivated – have good verbal and interpersonal communication skills – have sufficient computer skills to be able to use basic spreadsheets and data bases – have a clean driving licence – have a licence to operate a forklift truck (although training will be given if not) - enjoy practical work and be capable dealing with manual work.

You will need to be able to work as part of a small team whilst showing sufficient initiative to be able to work independently. Competitive salary depending upon qualifications and experience.

Founded in 1995 and relocated to a brand new purpose built brewery and Visitor Centre in 2007 Belvoir Brewery has developed a reputation for quality beers. The business has rapidly expanded over the past few years and we need someone to join the brewing team.

This will mean a hands on approach to all aspects of brewery operations from washing casks to brewing beer. The need to carry out occasional deliveries may also be involved.
