New Brewer/Brewery Manager Required
Our Brewery Manager is leaving having gained valuable experience and knowledge as well as his General Certificate of Brewing whilst with us. He is now moving on to study for an MSc in Brewing and Distilling at Heriot Watt university.
Therefore we need a new brewer who will ideally grow or fit into the role of Brewery Manager. Reporting to the Production Director the role will encompass all aspects of brewing and running a small brewery.
Ideally you will need to have proven brewing qualifications and/or experience – demonstrate knowledge and enthusiasm for the brewing & craft beer industry – be self-motivated – have excellent verbal and interpersonal communication skills – have excellent computer skills and be competent with spreadsheets, database use - have a licence to operate a forklift truck (although training will be given if not) - enjoy practical work and be capable dealing with manual work.
You will need to be able to work as part of a small team whilst showing sufficient initiative to be able to work independently. We offer a competitive salary depending upon qualifications and experience.
