As ever it’s busy down in the Vale with plenty going and we’re now getting ready for the festive run-in. We’ll be brewing our main festive special next week which will be a refreshing golden beer with a generous citrus fruit aroma. More details to follow, along with a possible second festive beer to keep you going through the long, dark winter nights.
The latest batch of our World Famous Blue Brew is now bottled and selling fast so if you’re after some you better not mess around. Light chestnut in colour, the Blue Brew has a smooth full-bodied flavour with a creamy texture derived from the infusion of Stilton Whey into the unfermented wort to produce a unique beer. Not only is it a great beer, it’s absolutely perfect for this time of year and will make an ideal gift for any beer lovers out there. It’s available from some of our regular stockists and of course our visitor centre at the front of the brewery.
We’re pleased to confirm we’ve produced a special beer for the Melton Mowbray ChocFest next weekend. “Chocs Away” is a lovely 4.3% double Chocolate Stout, and will be the first beer in our new Aviator range. The festival is on Saturday 19th from 10am – 5pm, and then Sunday 20th from 10am – 4pm. We’re also in the process of finishing off a new pump clip to go with the new range, so watch this space…
It’s a busy weekend coming up as we’ll also have some of our beer available at the Long Clawson Food & Gift Fayre, which runs from 10am – 3pm on Saturday in the Long Clawson village hall. If you’ve got nothing planned and aren’t too far away why not pop down and enjoy some Star Quality Beer whilst you tuck into some of the great food that will be available.
Something new for next year will be our Belvoir Brewery 2017 calendar which we’re currently working on. Along with the obvious photos of all things beer it will also include some great photos of our balloon in action and some memorable and entertaining dates to look out for. As always keep watching this space for further news and have a great weekend.
Lest We Forget…
